Brad is a veteran of the US Marine Corps with 20 Years of Active Service, who entered the Marine Corps on March 29th, 1995 and retired at the rank of Master Sergeant on March 31st, 2015.
Throughout Brad’s military career, he served as: 1371 Combat Engineer; Staff Non-Commissioned Officer as a 8411 Canvassing Recruiter; Combat Engineer Platoon Sergeant; 1372 Assault Breacher Vehicle Crewman; Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Assault Breacher Vehicle School; Assault Breacher Vehicle Platoon Sergeant; Route Clearance Platoon Sergeant.
During the last 3 years of Brad's career he served at 7th Engineer Support Battalion. While at 7th, he served as Bridge Company Operations Chief, Battalion Operations Chief, and Battalion Construction Chief. Brad was also called upon to serve as an Advisor to the Afghanistan National Army's 215th Corps Engineer Kandak.
Brad's personal decorations include: The Purple Heart Medal, Navy and Marine CorpsCommendation Medal with combat distinguishing Device (2nd award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2nd Award), and the Combat Action Ribbon (3rd Award).
