Cody is a United States Air Force veteran, serving from 2009-2013.
He was enlisted in Aerospace Maintenance at Dyess AFB, Texas. Cody spent the majority of his time there in the ISO Inspection side of the maintenance squadron and also ventured out onto the flightline. Markin reports that, “One of the main things I loved about serving was the bond I made with my fellow airman and the teamwork that is needed in order successfully complete the mission. That was the best in the world, and one that I had missed until recently when I was hired by Solar City.”
“TVA is an amazing program, and I owe them all the thanks in the world!
I have no doubts that one of the main reasons I was hired was because of the solar training program introduced to me by The Veteran Asset. The solar training course at Ambassador Energy is very informative and the instructor knows her solar! The course covered everything from the basic materials needed to install a system to theory and how solar PV works.
I am now working with Solar City and it has been amazing. Being in the solar industry is where you want to be. I am an installer and on a crew with 6 other guys. The teamwork and camaraderie is the same as when I was enlisted and it is a great feeling.”
